It
is traditional during Lent to remember Christ's suffering and death
through the devotion known as The Way, or Stations, of the cross.
It is said that the early pilgrims to Jerusalem and the crusaders
brought back this devotion from the pilgrimage round the streets
of the Holy City.
Here
are the depictions, from St Patrick's Church, of the events of the
Way of the Cross. In meditating on each, we invite you to share
in Christ's suffering, to prepare to share in his glory at Easter.
